Versatility and innovation for the new Landini Rex3 F, a Stage V specialist for vineyards and orchards
The passion for innovation, which has always been a hallmark of the Landini brand, also connotes the Series Rex3 F, the range of specialized tractors for vineyard and orchard work. The new version, now powered by Stage V, features innovative technological solutions, a renewed look of the hood and the possibility of installing a Low Profile cab: a restyling that allowed the Landini specialist to be a candidate for the prestigious award Tractor of the Year 2021 In the "best of specialized" category.
The line up of the Rex3 F includes three power outputs of the 4-cylinder, 2.5-liter Kohler engine from 55, 68 is 75 horses, which express torque reserves of the 50%, 45% is 32%.
RPM management is provided by the key Engine Memo Switch which allows settings to be quickly recorded and recalled when switching between different tasks. Full workday operation is provided by the 50-liter diesel tank.
Winning prerogatives of the new Rex3 F series are undoubtedly its compact size: pitch 1,950mm; minimum ground clearance 213mm; external width from 1350mm to 1617mm; minimum steering wheel height from the ground on platform version 1,256mm; weight without ballast 2,200kg.
But it is on versatility that the Rex3 F Series gains its most obvious competitive advantage. Starting with the option of the Low Profile Cab - Best in Class in the conventional category-which comes with a single-shell structure of 1.16m width at the base that reduces to 0.86m at roof level, for a minimum overall height from the ground of 1.87mtwhile ensuring respect for foliage and comfort for the operator. The latter factor is made evident by the wide door opening that facilitates accessibility, the tilt steering wheel, the multifunction dashboard, the absence of levers on the center tunnel, the air-conditioning circuit, and the optional rear camera. The cab offers maximum visibility in side operations, on sloping terrain and in greenhouse crops. Handling and ease of operation are also found in the factory option of the front linkage, with maximum capacity of 1,000kg, and in the geometry of the under-cabin frame designed specifically for the installation of various ventral equipment.
Designed for professionals working in vineyards and orchards, the hydraulic circuit offers 30 liters/min for steering and 50 liters/min for spool valves, up to 3 with the possibility of bringing an outlet to the front as well, in addition to supporting the mechanically controlled rear hydraulic lift and ELS (Ergonomic Lift System), with anti-dumping system and a capacity of well 2700 kg.
Versatility and convenience make it a tractor built around the needs of the operator: the transmission operates via mechanical shuttle and offers, with creeper, 16 forward and 16 reverse speeds in a speed range by 0,4 a 40km/h.
L'Front axle with electro-hydraulic engagement is manufactured in Argo Tractors factories and offers a steering angle of 55°.
The 20-inch rear wheels (for the GE) and 24 inches (for versions F) they also mount rims like Waffle, designed to withstand high loads while always ensuring the best possible concentricity between rim and tire to minimize vibration, maximizing comfort in road transfers with equipment in tow, also accomplice to the maximum allowable mass of 4,000kg.
Rounding out an already specification-rich picture is the perfect compatibility with Landini's fleet management protocol.
At Rex3 F can in fact be installed the system Landini Fleet Management which provides telemetry data, remote diagnostics, efficient integration with the after-sales system, a direct link to the service department and reduced downtime for maintenance, as well as a fast track for the operator to maximize farm operations.
Kohler engine
The line up of the REX3 F-GE includes. two models With the new engines Kohler 4-cylinder, 16-valve 2.5-liter engines with 68 and 75 horsepower, expressing torque reserves of 45% and 32%, respectively. Maintaining the strong compactness qualities of Kohler systems, the new engines are equipped with DOC systems without regeneration, thus in no way affecting machine productivity and efficiency. Engine speed management is provided by the key Engine Memo Switch, which allows settings to be quickly recorded and recalled when switching between different tasks. Full operational autonomy throughout the day is ensured by the 50-liter diesel tank.
